You don’t necessarily trust yourself with other people. Maybe solitude has become easier. Maybe you’ve stopped dating altogether. Maybe you’re already in a relationship and still notice yourself managing, anticipating, shrinking, over-explaining, or losing your footing when connection feels uncertain. Maybe part of you wants deeper intimacy, partnership, friendship, and a life genuinely shared with someone else, but another part of you is afraid of who you become when attachment takes over.
How do I know I will choose differently when the old pattern turns back on?
That is where Return to Love begins.

Return to Love is a private six-month mentorship with Rachel Nordahl for those who are ready to move beyond understanding their patterns and begin changing them in real time.
This is not another program about identifying narcissists, recovering from an ex, learning more red flags, or deciding who was right and who was wrong.
The person who enters Return to Love has usually already done a great deal of that work. They can see the pattern. They may even understand where it came from. What they don't yet know is whether they will recognize it quickly enough when they're attracted to someone, afraid of losing someone, tempted to send the text, questioning their own judgment, or standing inside the exact kind of moment where the old version of themselves would have taken over. That is where we work.
We work with your actual life as it is happening, your relationships, conversations, choices, reactions, fears, boundaries, dating experiences, and the moments that knock you off balance. You learn what you actually want. You practice saying it. You learn to recognize ambiguity without filling in the blanks for someone else. You learn to leave sooner, say no without waiting for enough evidence to justify it, and allow someone to love you without immediately managing, rescuing, anticipating, performing, or disappearing inside them. Sometimes that means learning to tolerate something surprisingly uncomfortable: being loved differently than you have been loved before.
Return to Love is the space between recognizing the old pattern and becoming capable of choosing differently in the moment.
Return to Love is not six months of following the same curriculum as everyone else. Every client moves through these six territories, but not in the same order, at the same pace, or with the same emphasis. During our first month together, I build a baseline, learning your history, your patterns across relationships, the role you tend to play, what you have already tried, where you lose your footing, and what you actually want. From there, I build the work around you.
We begin with your history, not to live there, but to understand what you learned to recognize as love, safety, belonging, attraction, and connection.
We separate what you actually want from what you have learned to tolerate, chase, rescue, manage, or wait for.
This is where recognition becomes practice. You learn to catch the pattern while it is happening, make different choices earlier, tolerate the discomfort of saying no, and stop waiting for certainty before trusting yourself.
We work beyond insight into reinvention, your environment, relationships, habits, identity, choices, standards, and the life you are building around the person you are becoming.
Healthy love can feel surprisingly unfamiliar when you are accustomed to earning, managing, anticipating, or fighting for connection. We work with what happens when you stop performing for love and begin allowing yourself to receive it.
The goal is not to finish six months knowing more about yourself. It is to leave making different choices because you trust the person making them.
Your path through these territories will not look exactly like anyone else’s.
The map is consistent. The work inside it is built around your pattern, your life, and the evidence you need to trust yourself differently.
Return to Love is built around your actual life, not a predetermined curriculum. We establish your baseline, identify the pattern you are running, and build the work around what you need to practice differently. Then we take that work out of our sessions and into your relationships, conversations, choices, and the moments when the old pattern actually turns back on. That is where understanding becomes evidence.
The first month is spent learning you, your history, patterns, language, relationships, where you lose your footing, what you’ve tried, and what you actually want. At the end of that month, I give you your individual map and we build the work from there.
You determine what you want, what you will and won’t participate in, what commitment means to you, what you will negotiate, what you won’t, and the questions you need to stop being afraid to ask. These aren’t my rules for your life. They become yours.
This isn’t hypothetical work saved for our sessions. You will actually try things, say the thing, ask the question, go on the date, leave earlier, stop over-explaining, tolerate the unanswered text, state the preference, hold the boundary, and then we examine what actually happened and adjust.
When something knocks you off balance and you recognize yourself about to fall back into the old behavior, you don’t have to wait until our next session to tell me what happened. That is exactly when I want you to reach for me. We slow the moment down before you act, figure out what is actually happening, and give you enough space to choose instead of react.
Return to Love includes twelve private sessions across six months, but some of the most important work will happen between them. The moment you recognize yourself about to send the text, abandon a boundary, agree to something you don’t want, fill in someone else’s ambiguity, or make a decision because fear has taken over, that is the moment we want to catch.
You will have a defined private channel where you can reach me by text or voice message between sessions. We slow the moment down together before the old response takes over. We identify what is actually happening, what you are trying to make happen or stop, and create enough space for you to choose deliberately rather than react automatically. This is the Interruption Protocol: Stop → Contact → Identify → Delay → Choose.
The goal is not for you to need me forever. During the final month, I deliberately begin removing myself from that sequence. You practice interrupting the pattern without reaching for me first, then bring what happened back to our sessions. By the end, the evidence you have been building belongs to you.

This is where I establish your baseline. We spend this first month going deeply into your history, language, patterns, relationships, where you lose your footing, what you’ve already tried, and what you actually want. At the end of the month, I give you your individualized map and we build the work from there.
This is where the work becomes lived experience. We repeat the cycle: Learn → Try → Experience → Return → Examine → Adjust → Try Again. You take what we are working on into your actual life, bring back what happened, we examine it together, adjust, and you go back out and try again. Each time through the cycle, you build more evidence that you can choose differently.
This is where I deliberately begin removing myself from the process. You start running the interruption protocol without reaching for me first and bring what happened back to our sessions afterward. Access reduces, and sessions begin spacing out because now we need to know something important: Can you trust yourself when I am no longer standing beside you?
Twelve private sessions. Six months. One individualized path. The goal is not to keep you in mentorship. The goal is to make the mentorship unnecessary.

THE BASELINE + PATTERN MAP
We establish your normal and reconstruct the pattern across relationships so we can see not only who you have chosen but also who you become within the connection.
YOUR RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
You define what you want, what you will participate in, what you will negotiate, what you won’t, and the questions you need to stop being afraid to ask.
THE INTERRUPTION PROTOCOL + PRACTICE LADDER
We build a way to catch your pattern while it is happening, then create real-world experiments that give you opportunities to practice choosing differently.
TRANSLATION + DEBRIEF
We examine what actually happened, not just what you think it meant. What was said? What did you hear? What did you assume? What did you do? What did you avoid? Then we adjust.
ACCOUNTABILITY + SOMATIC WORK
Sometimes changing the pattern means repairing something you did differently. Sometimes it means working with what happens in your body when you stop doing what has always made you feel safe.
SCAFFOLDING REMOVAL
And eventually, we remove me from the process. Because every tool we use has the same destination: you being able to use it without me.
Return to Love is designed around the moments when the old pattern actually turns back on. Across six months, we have twelve private sessions together, but the work does not stop when the session ends. You also have a defined private channel where you can reach me by text or voice message between sessions, because sometimes the most important moment is not our next appointment. It is the moment you recognize yourself about to make the choice you came here to change.
Two sessions per month, 60–75 minutes. Month one may be heavier while I build your baseline. Month six begins tapering as you practice without me.
A private channel for text and voice messages during defined office hours. This is where we catch the pattern while it is happening instead of waiting until the next scheduled session.
If you are about to break a boundary, send the text you know you should not send, agree to something you do not want, or make a decision from panic, that is when you reach for me.
THIS IS ACCESS WITH A PURPOSE. The goal is not unlimited contact or dependence. The goal is to use my support while the new response is still unfamiliar, then gradually remove that support as your own judgment becomes the thing you trust.

I am not trying to become the person you trust with your life.
I am helping you become the person you trust with your life.
You do not have to be single, dating, recovering from a breakup, or looking for a relationship to belong here.
Return to Love is for people who can already see their patterns but are no longer satisfied with understanding them after the fact. You may be married. Partnered. Dating. Beginning again after a relationship. Or you may have been alone long enough that you are starting to wonder whether the peace you built is actually peace, or whether some part of you simply learned that distance feels safer.
You may belong here if...
You understand why you do what you do, but still catch yourself doing it.
You can identify unhealthy dynamics in other people's relationships much faster than you can when attachment is happening to you.
You lose your footing when chemistry, fear, ambiguity, rejection, or the possibility of losing someone enters the room.
You manage, anticipate, rescue, over-explain, disappear, perform, chase, tolerate, or stay longer than you actually want to.
You have become very good at being alone, but you are no longer certain whether solitude is freedom or protection.
You don't need another person to tell you what a red flag looks like.
This isn't really a program about finding love. It is about learning how to remain yourself when love, attachment, fear, chemistry, and intimacy enter the room.

Total investment: $12,000 · Six monthly payments of $2,000
YOUR FIRST PAYMENT...Your initial $2,000 payment reserves your place and begins your six-month mentorship. This first payment is non-refundable.
The remaining balance is paid in five monthly payments of $2,000, due each month on the same calendar date established when your agreement is signed and your first payment is made.
If either of us decides to end the mentorship early, the financial relationship ends with it. Payments already made are not refunded. Future payments are canceled, and neither of us owes the other for the remaining months.
Simple. What has been paid stays paid. What has not yet become due is no longer owed.

There are no right answers here. I’m looking for an honest picture of where you are, what keeps repeating, and what you want to change.
I know what you want to stop repeating. Now I want to understand what you actually want your relationships, and your life inside them, to feel like.
Return to Love isn't built around giving you more things to understand. The work happens between our conversations, when you try something different and we look honestly at what happened.
This is a close, highly personal mentorship. I need to understand how you respond when someone sees something you may not see yet, challenges the story you're telling yourself, or asks you to try something you wouldn't have chosen on your own.
Change doesn't happen during our calls alone. This mentorship will ask for your attention between sessions, experiments to try, things to notice, conversations to have, and moments when you'll need to interrupt an old response before it runs.
I read these applications myself. Before I decide whether I think we should have a conversation, I want to give you room to tell me anything I didn't know to ask.
Submitting an application does not commit either of us to working together. If I believe Return to Love may be a good fit, I'll contact you personally with the next step.
